Autographed copies on sale at the reduced price of $17.76!.
In the USA, Memorial Day signifies the beginning of summer. In many part of this country, swimming pools open and summer resorts brace themselves for the onslaught of visitors. We also honor and remember those who gave "their last full measure of devotion" for their country. Many of us visit military and civilian cemeteries to pay special tribute to those our families and friends have lost in war and peace.
Summer time also means that Independence Day, July 4, is just around the corner with Labor Day on the time horizon. The 68th anniversary of the Guadalcanal invasion is August 7, 2010. The 65th anniversary of the end of WW-II is September 2, 2010.
To commemorate these days, I offer autographed copies of the original version of my book, Morning of the Rising Sun: The Heroic Story of the Battles for Guadalcanal, to you for $17.76 each. This sale begins today and ends on Labor Day, September 6, 2010 or when supplies run out. If that happens, there are no original copies left.

Have a great summer, everyone!
