May 2010 is here. Spring is in the minds of many people living in the Northern Hemisphere and fall for those who live in the Southern Hemisphere. Next to fall, spring is my favorite season with new life beginning everywhere.
- Last month I made a presentation about the Battles for Guadalcanal and my book, Morning of the Rising Sun: The Heroic Story of the Battles for Guadalcanal, at the California Military History Museum on Saturday, April 24. My wife and I found it rewarding and educational.

- Some of you may have noticed that some of the retailers who sell my book vary their prices frequently of the printed and E-Book versions. They do so at their own discretion. Therefore, I put a footnote on my price list that says you should check the sellers' web sites to get their most recent prices. You can be assured that the prices of autographed copies of my book, which I sell personally, will be the latest.
- I will run an ad in the May 2010 issue of Military Magazine on page 6. You can see a copy of that ad by clicking here.
- Autographed copies of the latest version of my book temporarily have sold out. I have ordered more books and should receive them soon. Autographed copies of the original version are still available for sale.
